Description
Cylburn Mansion was designed by architect George Frederick in the 1860s. Built in 1888, the mansion is a Renaissance Revival-style home that is constructed of rock from the local Bare Hills quarry. The mansion is surrounded by 15 strikingly impressive tree and shrub collections on 207 acres. Summer foliage is particularly beautiful.
Cylburn Arboretum, a public garden and nature preserve, is located in Baltimore, Maryland. It is one of my favorite destinations any time of the year when I am looking to capture nature at it's finest.
