Description
Known as the Beveridges Hotel in 1863, this charming inn is known to be "one of Virginia's oldest continuously run inns" according to the John S. Mosby Heritage Association. It is said that the inn hosted meetings during the Civil War allowing Mosby and other Confederate officers to share crucial intelligence.
The quaint town of Middleburg, Virginia where the inn is located, offers a glimpse of history and is found right in the heart of Virginia Hunt Country. This image is part of a series and is perfect wall art for any Civil War buff.

Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life. ― John Lubbock CONGRATULATIONS ON SALE!

Great shot of this historic inn. Have eaten lunch here many times back when they were open for lunch. Unfortunately not now except large parties and dinner only.
