During a recent visit to Fauquier County, Virginia, we stayed at a lovely Bed and Breakfast in Upperville called The Blackthorne Inn. Besides being nestled in the beautiful countryside, it boasts a history steeped in Civil War lore.
This beautiful Water Lily was captured during an early morning walk around the pond located on the main grounds. Water lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on the surface. This is the perfect image for almost any decor.
