These amazing edible gourmet mushrooms were found at our local farmer's market. Although there are over 10,000 described species of mushrooms, no one knows how many types of this fleshy fungi exist in nature. Mushrooms surprising health benefits include fighting cancer and renewing cells. Known by names like, lions mane, miyake, shiitake, lepiota, and pink elephant ear they are as down to earth as they are exotic. This image would look great in any kitchen.
